== Usage ==
This template is designed as a quick way to create relative links to section headers and anchors within a page with use of the redirect {{[[Template:rl|rl]]}}.

</pre>This appears as {{rl|See also}}. The code to do this without the template is as follows:

</pre>
Using this template for links that are one character long uses the same amount of characters as the code to do so without the template.

There also is an option to change the text in the link like so:

{{rl|Usage|The usage section}}
</pre>
With the outcome {{rl|Usage|The usage section}}. However this way of using the template actually uses more characters than it would take to type it out without use of the template. In this case the quickest way to create the link is like so:

[[#Usage|The usage section]]
</pre>
