Fix some errors formatted text not being reported
...
Formatted blocks with empty contents were not being reported sometimes
when formatted text ended with them, e.g. "{$red$red}".

Fix `EKFInventory` handling of single/dual pistols
...
Giving a pistol of the kind player already had was failing before,
instead of properly giving their dual version instead. This patch fixes
that issue.
